Recently someone asked me, “how do you find balance with your family members?”
I was stumped. It was a hard question – a good question!
No doubt our family members have the capacity to throw us off our center in 2 seconds flat. Ram Dass said, “if you think you’re enlightened, go spend a week with your family.” Family can push hidden buttons – because they’re made from the same buttons!
So I threw my imagination cap on. “Ok” I said, “let’s do this!” Let’s see what it’d be like to have balance with a family member. Imagination is a gateway to healing. Meditation helps too.
